The levelling of Puke Ahu Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, Izzy O’Neill & Aliyah Winter, Angela Kilford 7 - 21 March, 2015
An Enjoy Gallery offsite project, The levelling of Puke Ahu explored the complex histories of conflict, labour, violence, and art that have physically and socially transformed Puke Ahu (Mt Cook). As the site underwent redevelopment for the WWI Centenary, the work of Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, Izzy O’Neill & Elijah Winter, and Angela Kilford intervened, questioned and responded to these lesser known histories.
